bro really said “big ass group” when he listens to nct lol

To make this short, Seventeen are the theatre kids of kpop

17:26 this is Vernon, he's from the US, so the vibe his voice gave you is not entirely wrong 😅 he is a fluent English speaker.

They are known as the first self producing idols in the kpop industry. . from composing songs to making choreo, they have done all by themselves, ..just kings behaviours!! And now holding so many records in their hands, ..

16:57 OMG THAT'S THE8!! He's my bias in the group and he is around 5'10/11 and he is a part of the performance unit. The performance unit is one of the 3 units of Seventeen- Rap, Vocal and Performance. He is a super talented dancer and is known for not indulging delulu fans. He is also super funny in reality shows and games!!

THE WAVE TO EARTH INTRO OKAYYYY

Seventeen "Clap", I Don't wanna Cry, Cheers, Hot

Home is really a comforting song. There is actually a b-side on its album called Hug that fits its name so perfectly!

I feel like they are really underrated internationally. Tho they are gaining more recognition recently1, especially after joining hybe, more people start to give them attention. I remembered just how little there were seventeen's reaction vid i could find back even then in 2019/2020. They are totally way more people doing reactions on them recently. I already knew them since debut, and it always surprises and delights me just how great performer they are and their songs are all so good. Even at debut, their acting & facial expressions were on point, and their stage are always so fun to watch. Their choreo and dance is so satisfying. But people rarely talk about them overseas. I'd always find it unfortunate that groups like Seventeen, Oh My Girl, ONF, (pledis,wm ent. artists mostly, don't know why, but they have so many talented artists, yet so bad at making them known, Pristin got that early recognition cuz they r from prod101. OMG finally got that boost after Quendom)

SUPER btw is based on DRAGON BALL which is based on Sonogong (in Korea)/ Journey to the West being the original (Chinese) which inspired the character we all love and know from Dragon Ball, Son Goku. It’s why they say ‘sometimes I feel like Sonogong’. The members have stated the song being based and inspired by Dragon Ball, and also the lyrics have several hints as well as the music video/choreography.
1) The constant instant transmission gesture they do almost every time another member’s part comes in
2) the kamehameha gesture done by Dino at the camera before the ‘I love my team’ part
3) the clothes and styling - Dino’s blonde for Super Saiyan, majority of the members wearing denim as representative of Trunks, Android 17 and Android 18, Scoups long hair with red tints at the end is a nod to Super Saiyan 4.
4) the lyrics have several mentions of dragon ball related things - the power pole, flying cloud (nimbus), PING-gather energy (spirit bomb), ‘this is the manhwa’s/cartoon’s ending credit song’ is literally saying SUPER is the ending song for Dragon Ball.
5) The8 fractured his collarbone during this time so his part was kept small since he couldn’t dance much, the brilliant way they brought his part in is that before he comes on, you see a streak in the galaxy which is a reference to the dragon balls dispersing back into the universe after a wish is made which was usually made in dragon ball to bring someone back. So The8/Minghao’s part coming after that small shot and his instant transmission sign immediately was a fantastic thing. Always love it.

There’s more but this comment is getting too long.

Hope this gets you to appreciate the song even more!

Home really is that warm hug type of song! Totally get when ppl don't feel it as a song they'd regularly listen to, but for me it's one I always return to! Just something wildly comforting and impactful about that song. The way they do the anti-drop and isolated vocals gives the song this intimate, warm on a cold day type of vibe and I love it!!

SUPER is so awesome <3 probably one of my fav boygroup title track releases of 2023, along with ay yo, watch it, bite me and crazy form :D

It’s been so long since I really enjoyed someone’s genuine reaction to my favs

Definitely react to their killing voice

Yes!! Home is supposed to feel like a hug !

If you like RnB or rap type feel songs then I def recommend fire, trauma, fast pace, light a flame, and I don’t understand but I luv you. Some of their best songs tbh 🔥💯

yo, since you like dancing you should check out they dance practices, svt has the most insane choreographies in kpop.

Listening to Super after Toriyama Sensei's death hits differently 😢

it's so funny that you said that it sounded like vernon was speaking english that whole time bc i could never hear his american accent until i listened to him talk without thinking abt it and it took me so long to realize he wasn't actually speaking english

Def check out their b-sides their amazing. I totally reccomned fear, hit and home run reay great songs!!
