Our motorhome trip through Switzerland and France takes a stressful turn when our sat nav completely loses the French maps and sends us up a narrow mountain road with nowhere to go!

After struggling to find motorhome parking in Switzerland, visiting Lauterbrunnen and escaping the heat, we head across the border into France for a couple of relaxing days… or at least that was the plan.

Instead, we end up right at the top of a mountain, nowhere near our campsite, with a car coming the other way and almost no room to pass. Eventually we make it to Métabief, explore the ski resort, take the chairlift up the mountain and walk back down before heading through Switzerland again to Rhine Falls and on into Germany.

We also recreate one of our favourite meals from the trip — our new Ski Resort Chicken — once we finally reach our German park-up.
