This video was produced exclusively for Drive Rank. Our mission is to navigate the chaotic 2026 car market and expose what dealerships never tell you. We specialize in the habits, secrets, and maintenance truths that separate cars that die early from the ones that keep going. In this video, we rank every 2026 Mazda from worst to best using real numbers — and the model everyone recommends ranks near the bottom while the one dealerships never push hardest takes the top spot.

My CX50 Hybrid is by far the quietest and most responsive car I've ever owned or test-driven. I average well over 42 mpg instead of the 38 mpg EPA rating. I have 18,000 miles on it and have never had a major repair or software issue.

No matter what you say, I love my Mazda!!

I bought a CX 50 hybrid in May. I love it

My neighbor just took a ride in my 18,000 mile 2023 CX5 and was blown away on how smooth and quiet it is . It’s a wonderful car though it still has connection glitches using Pandora just like my 2017 Mazda 3 has.

Mazda 3 rear view, while not perfect the view out of the rear is not like "driving blind" the door mirrors are big enough to cover most of the blind spot. With blind spot monitoring there is no problem. I've been driving one for over 2 years with no problems

I drive a mild hybrid 2025 CX70, 340hp turbo. Best mileage has been from Lake Tahoe to Sacramento (much of it was downhill). 37.4 mpg. I could have made it to Orange County, CA on a single tank! Love the way such a heavy vehicle handles! Now have almost 21,000 miles on the odometer. Mileage around town is 21.5 to 22 mpg.

No mention of the Atenza or 6 .. which has one of the biggest following from the car enthusiasts..

The 2026 models no longer have a turbo in the CX-5.

I didn’t see 2026 cx50 non turbo , ironically I did my own research and that’s the one I bought, for the simple fact that it stayed true to the interior and stayed away from the all electronic and big screen, which as a senior didn’t want to

I load many bulky items in my Mazda 3 sedan. There obviously is a point where no sedan will be able to load extremely large items. I didn’t buy mine for that. The car punches above its weight in many categories. Comfort, styling, luxury, convenience features, performance.

What about the CX-50 premium non-turbo, non-hybrid???

THE ONLY TRANSMISSION WORSE THAN A DCT IS A CVT. THE SIX SPEED AUTO MAY NOT BE EXCITING BUT IT IS PRACTICAL AND ABOVE ALL DURABLE

Got a CX-30 GT and it’s awesome. It’s just my wife and I and we knew we didn’t need the back room. Excellent handling and great ride. Just don’t buy it if you have kids.

I bought the Mazda CX-5 because it has a 6 speed transmission. I would rather have a slow transmission than have a fast CVT transmission.

The CX 5 does not have that screen as shown. It's a massive 15", bigger than my laptop

This video is complete trash.

A 2018 Cx-5 preferred model. 69K witth no major issues

I own a 2025 CX-50 Preferred and a 2024 Mazda3 Preferred hatchback, and I completely agree with the video! The 2.5-liter engine and the transmission need improvement!
