i think you got the gants weapons mixed up they can only have one fleshborer as the other two arms are talons. you might be thinking of the spinefists where they act as pistols so they can have two but they fire barbed bioforms also lictors work on their own and the next step in the ranking after warrior is zonamthrobe then  a prime  a neurothrobe then the hive tyrant after that is a neurotyrant then the swarmlord at the top right under the hivemind these are just some corrections i am not judging just informing

unlike the hormagaunt, the termagaunt does have a digestive tract
when the hivemind loses connection to a termagaunt , their instinct is to retreat and lay an ambush
not including a way to digest means the ambush has a time limit
thats inefficient
the hive mind wants to reconnect, regather, and reuse
similarly, termagaunts are the usually basic guards of a hive ship
they need to patrol the hallways for decades
it would be inefficient to rebuild them every time they run out of carbs
you mixed up hormagaunts and termagaunts, and thats sad
especially with how interesting hormagaunts are, being a rare tyranid that can do its own reproduction
