I picked up this Cub Cadet 2146 garden tractor because it wouldn't move. At first I planned to use it as parts but I discovered the transmission wasn't bad and that the repair was possible and for cheap
If your drive shaft Cub Cadet mower isn't moving, this could be the problem because the issue is easier and cheaper to fix than most people realize

If you happen to want a spare transmission for one of those tractors, I happen to have a complete tractor that had an engine go bad in it, but has a good hydrostatic transmission in it. I’ve been using it as a parts machine currently the only thing I’ve removed from it is the seat and did an autopsy on the engine.
