5 y/o me in the club

I'm 35. Let me tell you living your 20's clubbing to these songs was absolutely legendary. Now I'm married and have 2 kids. 2009-2013 GOLDEN ERA will always have a special place in my heart.

I was 14 in 2012. We were too young for clubs, but we danced to all these songs at a school dance. I got to dance with my crush and hung out with my friends. Those were truly magical times before Covid.

I wish I would've been old enough to go clubbing during this era of music 😭

why tf music nowadays doesn't hit the same as these classics 😩

I still remember when my brother invited his friends over to our house to party and I was always happy because they always gave me toys and candies ahahahaha. He always asked me not to tell our parents anything and the next day he would take me to McDonald's...
Now seeing my brother playing with his daughter makes me even happier :)

3:35 that transition

i would go crazy if this happened to me in a party

0:00 Usher - DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love
3:36 Far East Movement - Like A G6
7:11 David Guetta feat. Akon - Sexy Bitch
10:22 Taio Cruz - Hangover
14:22 The Black Eyed Peas - I Gotta Feeling
19:08 Taio Cruz - Dynamite
22:22 Flo Rida - Good Feeling
26:27 Pitbull feat. Kesha - Timber
29:47 Kesha - Tik Tok
33:05 Pitbull feat. Christina Aguilera - Feel This Moment

Just for the new comers so they don't have to scroll down to far

David Guetta really had us in a chokehold back then and I loved every second of it

This is how my 12 year old self thought the clubs would be like when I turned 18 , how sad 😢

Is it just me or is this club music 10x better than the stuff that plays today? It feels meant for the club, like you can understand the lyrics and makes you wanna dance... and I hate dancing lol. Sad I missed this era in the club😢

As a gen z I'm kinda jealous of  millennials because we didn't get to experience this. The songs back then were lit I can only imagine the parties

I remember those songs when i was 13 and I was daydreaming of becoming an adult and having a strong core group and going to clubs dancing to these songs! A decade later...life is way different than I daydreamed and nothing at like how I imagined to be....

Putting this here for my own use thx

This is the exact vibe I miss in clubs nowadays, the classics just hit different. I‘m sure a 2012 themed club would make tons of money anywhere on the world. Good old times…

3:35 is such a clean transition!

It's 2AM  and suddenly I feel like I need a houseparty.

11 years old me partying alone in my room with this beautiful music , i still do 😆

I’m guessing all of us were 12-14 during this time and imagining being in the club when we are the age we are now but covid ruined it and we all struggling to pay rent
