If you're not driving a Tesla it can be confusing to understand which Tesla Superchargers you can and cannot use—and what you're likely to pay. In this video Dave takes on a viewer comment and shows you how to find Tesla chargers, tell which are open-to-all, and understand the price difference to Tesla owners and members. This video is the definitive guide for any non-Tesla driver looking to use Tesla chargers.

It was great going down there, especially as I hit the second planned Tesla stop in Marsh Barton, Exeter during off peak. Coming back, however, Amesbury had Teslas queueing out of their charging area, so I went to the Gridserve and grudgingly paid the 86p just to get on my way.
I also found MFG down in Saltash were offering 59p for a limited time, so made the most of that while down there!
I worked out that I'd need a petrol car that did over 75mpg to match my overall spend, and most stops, I found that I needed a longer time to rest and get food than the car needed to charge.
Also worth explaining that the ones branded OTM whilst using Tesla hardware and hence app are not actually Tesla sites. They will always be more expensive, still much better than the Gridserve etc but do watch out for them.
So easy to forget where we were when we first started Rapid charging so very useful info.
