Dollywood is in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.  A beautiful amusement park. A LOT of money from it goes straight to charities. It also brought a lot of jobs to that area.

This shows what kind of person she was. Her kindness and generosity was off the charts. We will always love her.

She was such a generous soul with the biggest heart and her music touched my soul in ways I can't explain ❤

Yes she was tiny..5 ft and 105 lbs..she wore those 6 inch heels

She started the Imagination Library because her father never knew how to read or write, but she knew he was so smart and just didn't have the opportunity for education.   So....she started this foundation that sends a book to children from 1-5 yo every month.   Any child can sign up for this--and to this date, the world has received over 350,000,000 books around the world.    Yea, 300 million books.   And many people have been touched by her and learned to love reading.    We lost a good one.   She had a heart of gold.    She gave away over $600 million-she could have been a billionaire, but not Dolly.   She supported the LGBTQ and BLM when it wasn't popular.    Actually a reporter asked her if she believed in Black Lives Matter and she said "of course!!!  Do you think God only loves our white asses?!"   The best response.    One of her limo drivers was trans--she drove her around for over 30 years.   She put her money where her mouth was----and yes, she was ALWAYS funny!!!!   Thank you for the reaction! 💜💜💜💜

Such a beautiful soul, Dolly she was amazing…beautiful inside and out💕

Dollywood is her theme park in Tenn..

She was a light in this world. Rip Dolly ❤

There are so many similarities between her and Elvis as far as their character goes as well. Both had no ego, were quick to laugh at themselves and had great sense of humour. Both stood their ground and were firm in what they believed in.  Both had integrity, refused to get drawn into politics, showed love and respect to everyone they met. Both gave so much away to those in need and neither were involved in any scandals. And obviously both were major stars that lit up every room they were in. had a great sense of dress style and talent that was off the charts.

It does not surprise me that no other celebrity besides these two legends has had such an impact on the world with their passing. Immense outpouring of love and sorrow by fans and even those who were not initially fans. I have no doubt that fans will converge on Dollywood on the anniversary of her passing every year the same way Elvis fans still show up by the thousands at Graceland every year on the anniversary of his passing. Even after 48 years they still do, that is a legend. It will be the same for Dolly.

You're a kind soul. Thanks for sharing the love. Dollywood is her theme park with shows, rides, etc. It's amazing.

"act like it's raining every day and wear your rubbers". Even though she wasn't a parent, that is pretty good parental advice.

Thanks so much for featuring Dolly….she’s a ray of sunshine!

So sorry about your Dad and I hope you and your Mom are doing well.

I miss her so much. The truck stop opening was her last public appearance a couple months ago

Dollywood is in the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee.A beautiful theme park!

Check out her induction into the "Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and then her album Rockstar when she was 77. She felt that she needed to earn her award.

Dolly has written well over 3000 songs, and has locked up one in a vault to be released on her 100th birthday.  She also have lots of unreleased songs she has provided for her estate to release over the years

I'm old enough to be your Mama and I enjoy your content so. You are such a precious young man..love to you and God bless❤

This is who she was 😇 This isn't an ACT😎 Not saying that today there aren't any out there that are good people...but Dolly was a One of a Kind 😇😇😇

Crying doesn’t ruin the video, it just means you have a heart ❤️

Dolly opened a theme park in the area where she grew up to provide jobs and opportunities for the people there.
