Somehow the "straight from the mines" gave the same iffy vibe as people who say "freshly turned" about 18 year olds.

"i'm doing good"
"what's the latest?"
"i'm doing bad actually"
mood

Did you know that it is very hard to get an uncut piece of tanzanite out of Tanzania legally? So every single thing about the "stolen" gem feels dubious.

If that girl's case against the jeweler had any legitimacy she could get a lawyer and sue. There is no world where having your followers harass a business is the most appropriate move.

Indie musician and tennis player are such HGTV jobs. They’re looking for a house that’s both by the beach and inside a tennis court and have a budget of 6 million.

The jeweler should just say "I am a shaman, and you killed me in a past life, so I'm going to keep your ring. We are even now."

Little detail: tanzanite is not diamond and is a relatively cheaper stone. A 10 thousand dollar tanzanite would not fit in your hand. It would probably be person sized.

It's hard to relate when the only family heirloom i have is generational trauma.

to clarify something: chiitan is not official, not affiliated with any government, company, etc, and simply a being of pure chaos

Not gonna lie, as an actual "small artist" there is no way they don't come from money, that studio she is in is professional. Also if you're dropping 10k to see a shaman to cleanse your spirit of a past life death, I have no sympathy.

1:40:39 "i think that people don't wanna acknowledge privilege when they aren't happy with their position in life, because if they're so privileged then why don't they have exactly everything that they want" 💯💯💯 literally so well said

My introduction to Chitan was a pic of them running from cops and saying they have no gender, and then being arrested saying "acab"

okay, timmy turner! we see you

"straight from the mines of Tanzania" made me cringe the loudest I've ever cringed and that's when I lost all sympathy

@ChemicalVelocity 2 years ago

"i'm just a little indie musician" with a wall full of guitars and a personal studio

@CheeseduckClaire 2 years ago (edited)

"Straight from the mines" via our shaman who sourced it from a third party.

@Ceeby_is_sleepy 2 years ago

holy shit the way she said i'm just a little musician and he's just a little tennis player was so disgusting imo. the whole thing reeks of trust fund babies not getting their way on something and using their clout to bully people.

“I’m just a little indie musician, he’s just a little tennis player” is CRAZY to say about beef you have with a jewelry company that lost your heirloom ring worth (according to you) 15k and your “straight from the mines” tanzanite worth 10k. How much more financially and socially privileged do you need to be to stand up against Big Jewelry?
