What a GREAT Truthful Mechanic !! Definitely A Keeper !!

Glad the mechanic was accurate on the IMS issue, really it’s a change when you change the clutch job because 90% of the labour is identical until you get to the other 10% removing the IMS bearing. That weeping is the RMS, it happens basically the seal perishes slightly and it weeps, you get drops of oil on the drive and can get a slight smell of burning oil plus your oil consumption increases slightly but give it a blast with the jet washer and your good.
You drain plugs can be sorted with a trombone cleaner, literally a long metal springy flexible length with brushes on either end used for cleaning the inside of a trombone. It costs about £5 just push it in the top and look for it out of the bottom. Pull it all the way through and the drain is clean.

If this isn't an advertisement for a great reliable and honest Independent  Porsche Specialist, then I don't know what is..How reassuring to bring your Porsche here and know you are getting great straightforward feedback...I bet you are happy that you got that car now- it certainly looks like a great buy Joel, well-done mate.

Leave the exhaust alone. Do suspension  work first.

When I see helpful, patient mechanics like this it makes me want to buy a certain marque just so I can take it to them for that extra care and attention.

Very knowledgeable tech , giving VERY good advice. I have learned most of it by experience over the years owning a Boxster, he pointed out most of the "issues" to look for.  No exhaust mods necessary, leave it as is.
