Heads up Dears, This is the MV Version we reacted to here. We had lots of comments saying do this one first then the Almaty Live version, so that's what we've done, hopefully that's correct 🤞🏻

This complicated composition with a variety of music themes and tricks is a result of three years of compositional work of Dimash Qudaibergen.
This clip is not about war, it’s about peace. War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other along national, social, religious lines in order to preserve life, love, friendship, and the land for our children.
#Dimash was awarded a commemorative medal by Pope Francis (The Story of One Sky). In 2023, he was awarded the title of People's Artist of Kazakhstan. Since 2024, he has also been elected Goodwill Ambassador of the Congress of Leaders of the World's Religions. In 2024, he became the IOM Goodwill Ambassador for Asia. In 2026, he became the IOM Global Goodwill Ambassador to the UN.
He is a great lover of peace with a specific message for the world!

"Dimash – The Story of One Sky" tells the story of three childhood friends: two boys and a girl. As children, they share a close bond, and one of the boys even saves the other's life. As they grow up, both young men fall in love with the same girl. She chooses one of them, while the other is consumed by jealousy, bitterness, and eventually hatred.
Over time, the rejected friend gains power and becomes a dictator who leads his people into war. The other man builds a family with the woman he loves and tries to protect them from the horrors of the conflict. The war brings immense suffering, destruction, and loss to countless innocent people.
One of the most heartbreaking moments in the film is when the soldier discovers that his wife and young daughter have been killed. Yet, amid all the tragedy, a child is born — a baby boy who symbolizes hope, renewal, and the future.
The film ends with a vision of that child as a grown man. Many viewers interpret him as the son born during the war, now representing a new generation that has the chance to choose peace instead of hatred, compassion instead of revenge, and unity instead of division.
The message of the film is clear: despite our differences in nationality, culture, or religion, we all live under the same sky. War destroys lives, but love, understanding, and future generations can help humanity find its way back to peace.

I believe the "crazy piper" is not meant to represent a specific person, but rather a metaphor for war leaders, politicians who spread hatred, or, more generally, those who lead humanity in the wrong direction.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful reaction to this masterpiece. Dimash spent 3 years and his own money to make what he's called the most expensive music video ever made.
Many interpret the woman giving birth as his wife (who was the little girl in the beginning, still wearing the necklace he gave her as a child) and the little girl who was killed as their daughter. The newborn wearing the necklace at the end is thought to have grown up to be the man leading the lost people at the end toward peace, still wearing his dead mother's necklace.
Dimash is a strong advocate for world peace, one of the many reasons he is so beloved by millions. Thanks again for your sensitive and deep analysis of this great work that's so important to Dimash and his Dears.❤
