man civvie sounds different today

Binding of Duskdude

"all your favourite mall stores before they exclusively sold funko pops" you're so real for that verac

Fantastic video but you didn't start the video with "Konnichiwa, Verac-desu. This video is coming out while I'm in japan..." so I'm gonna have to give this a 9/10 instead of a 10/10

Verac has fallen down the boom shoot tube, say hi to civvie for me

6:38 1337 5p34k is why I don't ever make fun of gen z for "skibidi gyatt rizzler ohio fanum tax" type talk. My millennial ass is not free of linguistic sin.

Verac is a madness combat fan. Madness project nexus video when?

Newgrounds DOOM.

This video was an absolute treat, I love all the references to stuff like Doodlebob and friggin Stamper, plus ya know all the scene/emo stuff. I will never tire of you Verac, you goofy beast :D

Fun fact in a developer interview I learned that this game was indeed partially influenced by Madness Combat. specifically the violence. Also the horror themes were due to the game's director one Sasha Shipulin having a longtime childhood fear of living toys. He cited Sid's toys from the first Toy Story, Small Soldiers and of course Child's Play as influences. apparently he decided on the cardboard aesthetic because it was easy and quick for him to model and animate. Go find it and read it's really fascinating.

Close enough, welcome back UltraPaperMarioKill

3:03 that was actually gas, now I know who to hire as a budget narrator

madness flash mentioned

I hate that you mentioned l337 5p34k and my brain immediately went to that exact comic you showed. My sister used to read that series religiously.

I believe the art style is usually called 'Pop Surrealism' here in the west while in Japan its often called Gurokawa / Kimokawa.

Literally read my thoughts — that intro is so Stamper coded...

1:24 id say Vasquezian since he was the one that popularized it with Zim

Civvie needs to hear about this

Hey Verac if you upload consistently the government will gift you a government mandated giant alien spider
