In this farming documentary, we follow how bell peppers are grown from nursery seedlings to raised beds in major production states such as California, Florida and Georgia. Farmers manage water, nutrients, pests, diseases and fruit quality before harvesting green, red, yellow and orange peppers by hand.
After harvest, bell peppers are cleaned, sorted, packed, cooled and shipped to supermarkets, restaurants and processing factories for sliced peppers, frozen vegetables, sauces, soups and foodservice products.
