Dewi Evans' Role in Past Bonnie Lewis Case Reignites Questions Over Lucy Letby Conviction

@peterbrooks3561 1 year ago

The very fact that Evans, keeps saying Letby is guilty, while gloating about the prospect of further charges should be enough to overturn his 'evidence'.

@robinhood4640 1 year ago

You are absolutely right, this isn't about Lucy.
It is about every single one of us, having the risk of being incorrectly imprisoned because of a complete failure of the the very system that is supposed to protect us from injustices.
It needs fixing, and the first step to fixing this serious problem, is accepting that it is a serious problem. We can't carry on with this tiptoeing around it, it was a colossal FU.

Based on this programme alone, Evans needs investigated by the police.

@BonitaVennik 1 year ago

They all keep changing their minds to suit the narrative. Just shows they didn't know what they were doing in the first place. Thanks so much Chris. I think you are brilliant ❤

Headline in the Telegraph today, 'BBC admits it broadcast inaccurate Lucy Letby figures' oh dear.

This case needs more than a review, it needs a retrial!

@SuVo-ne3nr 1 year ago

I am fuming! Here is an example of a retired doctor looking for a payday. What a buffoon. He has ruined the life of a young dedicated nurse so he can make money. He should be charged with malicious misconduct and intent.

@JohnMccharley 1 year ago

Got to admit it no one could ever convict Lucy on the evidence in a normal non biased court!

@GJChurchward 1 year ago

Dewi Evans has become a professional expert witness. He treats it as a business. In his World, driving to Chester was like going for an interview. If he could persuade Cheshire Police that his evidence would secure a conviction, his reward was another payday.

EXACTLY!! we are no fans (no fanatics of anyone) but are truly concerned about this case and what it means regarding justice and all citizens- although you have expressed it much better, Chris.
Re Evans...the more he talks, the more he buries himself in the ground...which does not say much about how "expert" witnesses are chosen and vetted ....
By the way, the work you are doing with this is jaw dropping, I do not want to speak for others but I would bet I am not the only one in awe...

Around the 8mins? mark of the panorama documentary Moritz says something along the lines of "This is the man that Lucy Letby Supporters blame" - referring to Dewi Evans. BUT the LL supports also blame the police and the consultants and the NHS and the media and HER. She is part of this nightmare for Lucy.

@MotherofAllMothers 1 year ago

David Davis has already asked for jayaram to be charged with purjery. The consultants were definitely trying to stitch her up. This is an attempt to bolster their pathetic case against Lucy

@EcoSailor 1 year ago

Now that we know Evans was lying about how he became aware of the investigation, it makes me wonder whether the truth is that he'd been primed by the CoCH consultants at that pediatrics conference in north Wales. Does the timing fit? Food for thought.

This case proves three things: how powerful doctors are, how corrupt they can be IF it comes to saving their jobs and own skin, and how easy it is to cover negligence and manipulate a situation whilst doing the previous.
