98 had cowboy bebop, trigun and outlaw star. Peak year

As a strong advocate of 2006, Code Geass and Death Note gave me the best summer of my life.

If I won the lottery I'm for sure paying a studio to redo Deadman Wonderland. "Here, take 50 million dollars. Please do this show justice. Thank you."

Me screaming “COWBOY BEBOP!!!” At the screen

Funny enough Gintama ACTUALLY released in 2006.
2006 also had Naruto,Bleach and One Piece firing on all cylinders. With the Chunin exams and Ennie Lobby debuting in 2006.

i find it crazy as a non dragon ball fan that the year of dragon ball wasn't on here

Rurouni Kenshin was my first anime so I’m a major fan of the series. I loved seeing it mentioned so much here even when it was far from the year you guys were trying to recall. I also watched Ranma 1/2 and InuYasha at the same time so I do consider those my first as well. I blanked on Bebop, too. Steins; Gate as well even though I’m rewatching it currently. I was thinking of it just seconds before that part of the video. Still blanked on it. 😂

Best is a matter of perspective really

I absolutely agree with the ranking for the years 2012, 2011, and 2006.

ore monogatari, is what i think he said in the beginning. It's a slice of life, comedy, romance, anime, of a giant teenage boy, falling in love with a girl who also fell for him and the anime is just mostly watching their relationship blossom

4:30 I thought they were about to talk about Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin, but that came out in 1986 (and was only popular in the nordic europe)

What about 1986? 1986 was a top tier year for anime. Dragon Ball and Saint Seiya alone makes it top tier, plus the other options...so many fun series.

89 and 92 are too underrated.

I don't know about the rest of the year after but winter 2026 is looking absolutely stacked

Bruh, no mention of Madoka Magica in 2011? No Haruhi in 2006/2009? Lucky Star in 2007?

10:00 i cant explain just how much the first episode of Deadman Wonderland PISSED ME OFF. The whole concept revolves around heard mentality and no one thinking for themselves for even a second. If you get past that its a pretty good anime😂
