Powerful witness, Jesus Christ is LORD.

Professor Lennox’s analysis of Romans 1 at the end of this conference is incredibly prophetic for our technological age. The trajectory Paul describes—darkening of the mind, degradation of the body, and the worship of man-made idols—perfectly maps onto the three fateful technological revolutions of the modern era, each based on a tragic scission of reality:

Over Matter (The Mind Darkened): The splitting of the atom, which reduced physical reality to pure, manipulable energy, culminating in the atomic bomb.

Over Biology (The Body Degraded): A modern revival of Platonic dualism through the sexual revolution. By treating the biological body as a mere soulless envelope, it separated human identity from physical nature, opening the door to the ideological rewriting of gender and the tragic disposal of unborn life through abortion.

Over Mind (The Seductive Idol): Today's cloud-based AI, which creates a functional neo-Averroism—relocating the act of thinking from the concrete person (hic homo intelligit) to an external, technological infrastructure. As Lennox warns, this machine god creates the uncanny illusion of intellect, tempting us to worship a servant.

This final revolution does not threaten us with physical destruction, but with something far more insidious: the gradual enslavement of humanity to algorithmic parameters dictated by educational, political, and financial oligarchies. As the great dissident voices of the 20th century—like Aleksandr Solženicyn and Václav Havel—profoundly warned, the ultimate trap of the technological and materialistic era is a system that sells security, predictability, and comfort at the price of the total anesthetization of human consciences and the surrender of moral courage.

What once appeared as linear 'progress' is revealing its true anthropological cost. We technically mastered matter, and it gave us the power of total destruction. We technically mastered biology, and it turned the body into an object to be discarded. Now, we are technically mastering intellectual processes, and the ultimate danger is that human beings will gradually cease to exercise their own judgment, outsourcing their very conscience and moral responsibility to soulless algorithms.

The text of Romans reminds us that the solution is not to double down on our technical control, but to return to the logic of the gift, renewing our minds to protect the irreplaceable value of the human conscience.

Thank you so much 🙏🏼!!….Good stuff!!

I am a simple man! I see John Lennox, I hit it!
