If I was taking care of someone 600 lbs and I know you can walk, you would not be having your plates brought to you.

I work at McDonald's and I guarantee you that we are never shocked/ surprised, nor do we care what people order.

The way she walked through the airport just shows that she has no reason not to walk every day.

Part of me thinks Sarah has done this to herself to get back at her mom. Make her mom wash her, get her food, move with her, etc

Sarah needs therapy. She has so much anger towards her mother that she is self destructing. Also I want to be like her grandma. She was still very mobile and active. That's sad when you look at the woman across from her that is probably 40 years younger than her

Omg after this I found her instagram 😊🎉 she got married and had herself a little family, and still posts her journey being healthy and appreciative of everything since this episode I actually got a little teary eyed. If you didn’t know about the show you’d have no idea she was ever 600 lbs or about what she went through! Just thought id leave this feel good comment here.

All that walking in the airport but she can't walk to the kitchen to get her own food?

Hey SOS gang.
Thank i to you all helping me stay motivated I got past my plateau and am under 170 for the first time in 7 years. Almost at a normal BMI, Body Fat down 4%. Down 2 pants sizes. Feels wonderful and loving going to the gym.
Lots of you encouraged me to stick with it through the plateau, thanks everyone and have a great weekend!

I went to school with Sarah, and am very proud of the changes she has made!

I've said this before in previous posts. I had the surgery. I traveled. I bought rotisserie chicken and frozen steam veggie packs. It's doable if a person is determined

My sister was talking about My 600lb Life this morning and saying how depressing it is . I told her she's watching it wrong and should be watching it through the eyes of Sean of Steel .😊

When I was in early childhood I heard a phrase that changed my perspective on childhood trauma, “The worst day of a child’s life is just a parent’s Tuesday.” Seeing as the mother was on drugs as well I’m not shocked she doesn’t remember, children’s brains are sponges and they absorb everything.

“Everybody’s been through something.” Too true.

I may be in the minority, but I love her sister. You can just tell that she is over Sarah’s BS. I can relate.

As a recovering heroin addict myself(13 years clean now) this whole situation is a recipe for disaster. There is no way someone who is only two years clean should be taking on something like this. Trying to be the only physical and emotional support for someone this needy could well just end up with both of them relapsing.

Grandma is trying to save her sad azz life. I'm a grandma and I promise, grandma loves her and wants what is best for her 😢

If she can get through an airport like she did. She should have no problem with her doing things for herself. She just doesn't want to do things for herself she wants people to wait on her. I think that's what makes me the craziest when I see people acting like they can do nothing but then you see them doing a bunch of stuff.

The fact she was 200 lb at 8 is insane to me. And as a parent myself how do you not see your kid doing this to themselves.. also huge shout out to granny for helping her cause why isn’t her mother the one pushing her to do better?

@PonyTrotsky 1 year ago

Sarah is incredibly aggressive and spiteful about everything. Even the way she sits there stuffing food into her mouth while the mother and sister watch is aggressive and spiteful. It's like she's destroying herself just to hurt them.
