"i come from a smaller town" "las vegas" LMAO these ivy league kids are so out of touch with reality

A lot of their stances come from privilege. Going to college purely for “the experiencing”, “the learning”, or “the networking” is a privilege.

The Indian dude just clocking everyone’s tea has me HOLLERING. 😭 The fact that he does it without even trying too

@anovosedlik 1 year ago

The Indian guy was the only person that was consistently making nuanced, interesting points.

"indian guy" his name is Ishan guys 😭

Indian guy must be the dude who always has a tutorial for everything. Bro is the definition of SMART.

"Elitism doesn't exist because my other elitist friends at school aren't like that." I don't think they understood the question lmfao.

The girl from Cornell needs to realize that the "world-renowned professors" she idolizes likely didn’t all come from Ivy League schools. She acts as if only Ivy League institutions can produce students worthy of greatness. While these schools do have a strong track record, a student’s success ultimately depends on their effort, not just their academic background. Yes, getting into an Ivy League school is a great marker of aptitude, but it is not the sole or most reliable differentiator of potential.

“I didn’t have the opportunity to study in Europe so go to a Ivy League” bruh listen to yourself.

@syd07136 1 year ago

the girl saying ONLY 4 or 5 people got into ivys at her school is crazy because thats actually a pretty big number compared to normal public schools that arent feeder schools. only two people in my graduating class got into an ivy adjacent school(Duke) in a graduating class of 800 students

bro ishan is so eloquent and smart lowk was looking forward to when he would speak

@asco4310 1 year ago

Cornell girl was SO focused on the fact she got into Cornell.

@helenaleal5227 1 year ago

The girl who dropped out for health reasons’ face when he was talking about how it’s the 4 years with most amount of energy in your life broke my heart. That’s definitely not true for everyone.

@suhanipatel371 1 year ago

As a former Cornell student, this is a horrible representation of the school. The amount of entitlement exuded was a hard watch honestly

@sintiayuliani9123 1 year ago

ISHAN BEING THE ONLY ONE AGREEING TO THE ELITIST QUESTION WAS SO EPIC 😂

@robertdepesci3418 1 year ago

when you believe being a harvard or ivy league graduate makes you smarter than non ivy league graduates... that is what elitist means.

@meenashans 1 year ago

Cornell girl using a whole lotta words to say a whole lotta nothing

@ehernandez2726 1 year ago

Frankly, unlike the others, Ishan is actually ivy league material. His critical thinking distinguishes him. The others were bright, but there is a difference. The economic factor he raised (DEI) went over many heads, including Cornell, despite her conviction. Ishan posseses the kind of mind our best schools were meant to serve.

@cosmicnoodle5 1 year ago

Can you do this but with people 10 years older? The retrospect would be interesting.

@joolieboolie64 1 year ago

I think Claire just kept joining the conversation because she loves hearing her own voice, rather than hear other perspectives. It's unfortunate, because at the discussion of 'elitist', her persona truly became the definition.
