Every year, around 5,000 people disappear without a trace in Germany! Fortunately, many of them are found after just a few days. But in some cases, even the police are baffled. There seems to be no lead. In other cases, fate has separated people from their parents, children, or siblings for decades.

For relatives, after years of searching, the worst thing is not knowing whether their missing loved one is safe. Desperate family members have only one wish: to finally hold their loved one in their arms again.
