I watched this video and bought a CM2000, these things look super neat and I would really like to integrate this into my equipment rack. Thanks for showing this thing off.

Thank you. Based on what I’ve found on the internet it was looking like my base and emitter across my x01 was shorted. I am reading 48 ohms! Thanks for explaining the resistor!

Is it ok to power the chassis o the bench with direct a/c and no isolation transformer if it is not connected to the CRT? I had the anode just laying there on the bench and was testing b+ voltages and listening for flyback chatter.

Do you know why the "more rings" on the Ring Test is considered a better inductor or windings? The HOT transistors has an internal diode from Collector to Emitter, what is this internal diode called and what does it do?

I've been repairing a lot of g07 chassis's lately. I don't like the idea of replacing a flyback if the current one is good but from my research and understanding from klov is that the original ones are notorious for blowing up and just replace it when ya cap it.
