200$ with dura ace parts...amazing!

That Trek 950 it is probably the steel lugged frame that Trek ever made. I know that because I hand braised the mainframes and built the rear triangles. I did a lot of everything back then. There might even be the letter G stamped into the bottom bracket. If so that was me. I worked there for 24 years. I was the first hourly to work on a carbon frame.

Veloswap is just a shadow of its former self from the nineties and early 2000s.

I’m glad the Campagnolo mug and espresso cups went to a good home 😂

I love how the subtitles are presenting "camping yellow".
I'm glad this swap meet was nowhere near me. I'd be going home with an abundance of bikes and parts I probably didn't need.

A velo swap like this provides a few hours of sanity in an insane world.  Life was better when these bikes were being made.....

What an amazing collection. So many lovely steel frames! Thanks for sharing. Considering how old some of these frames are, I find it so amusing that these "heavy", "non-aero" bicycles hold their value while last year's models find it challenging to.

I remember a write-up about Passoni in maybe Bicycle Guide? They shaped their tubing from sheet.

Lucky I wasn’t there…divorce for sure.  That Gios-outstanding.

If I see a velo swap near me I'll go over never been to one before it looks so cool

Those old saddles are called
Eunuch Cantor.     Because of its,,,, special level of comfort

lol....."Someone killed an Olmo".  That one got me.

72 sounds right for that green colnago, because it was the year I started in shops and I remember those days pretty well.  For the importer I worked for, the early ones came through with center pulls (or a lot of them did. I don't remember which ones) with the Campy side pulls coming along later.

I wish they would do something like this in Georgia, they used to back in the day

Amazing stuff as always. I never thought I’d say I love green but that Colnago is stunning. Thanks for sharing John! Happy Holidays

My first Schwinn BMX as well..sx500 mag scrambler..( my dad welded it twice)..then I moved to a Predator..

Just a wealth of information….

JOESS, not GEE-OSS. I remember going to Velo Swap decades ago, selling probably 1/2 of my stuff to other vendors before the public was allowed in! I have a set of Campagnolo espresso cups...use 'em every day.

Campy hat is OK. Take care. And much thanks for the video.

Some great bikes and parts for great prices.
