I know you guys expect a lot of editing from me so hopefully it's OK to go a little lighter sometimes. I just wanted to make sure I got my thoughts out there! I know the captions aren't 100% correct so comment with your favorite mistranscription! 😂

Thanks for taking the time to make this video! We enjoyed watching it and we thought it was a very fair and well thought out exploration of both games. We know the team over at WeirdCo and we have a lot of respect for them and what they’re building! We think our games are very different and they’re going to appeal different types of players and that’s great for the cyberpunk genre on the whole! The whole idea that only one of our games can survive and be successful feels like kind of a false binary. We don’t see any reason both games can be successful and find their own market. There are SO many different fantasy TCGs out there that co-exist and have their own communities. So why can’t there be two cyberpunk themed TCGs that are both successful?

Thank you for making this video! I bought some of both, and I like both games for different reasons. I personally always want to support the underdog, the indie creator, so Neuroscape had my attention but Cyberpunk is a lot of fun too.

I think they can perfectly co-exist. For me personally, Cyberpunk 2077 is fun for to collect. But for collecting and playing i prefer Neuroscape.
Cyberpunk 2077 is based on 1 IP. Neuroscape can draw inspiration from the entire Cyberpunk Universe. Neuroscape is also available in Europe now. I received my Master Diver kit and booster boxes a few days ago.
+1 for Neuroscape 😅

Both of these games are great and I hope they can find audience and coexist. I collect them both and have nothing but the praise for them.

Cyberpunk renaissance!

My opinion: They’re both awesome! Play both, or play one, or none. Your own time and money is the ultimate currency. But no need to put down one to ultimately justify the choice 🤷‍♂️

Never even heard of Neuroscape before this video nor had anyone at my LGS know of it either. I'm in agreement that more is better and hope it does well enough they can get more people knowing of the game so it can grow!

Neuroscape was such a surprise hit for me. I had no idea what it was until my LGS got some product in. Decided to get the starter deck set and figured i'd maybe play a game or two to see what its about. Well, I spent a good 8 hours at the LGS that day playing Neuroscape. It is such a well designed game that it actually took over Grand Archive for me, something I wasn't expecting. I think there is very much so room in the market for both cyberpunk styled games especially since the way they play is so vastly different that someone who just loves the genre and aesthetic of cyberpunk SHOULD be able to find what they are looking for in one of these games.

Is Neuroscape going to make it onto TCGPlayer? It's a crime they've got some booty booty buttcheeks dead Kickstarter games on there and not one as polished as Neuroscape.

I just got the 2 player kit from a LGS. I am impressed with the quality and the art of Neuroscape. I looked at the rules but haven’t gotten a game in yet. I really like what I see so far. I am also a big fan of Cyberpunk 2077. I hope both TCGs prosper

I have to say, as a store owner, the Neuroscape OP box is a masterpiece. Most other games send materials floating loose in a big box. Neuroscape has a beautiful embossed box with nice hard foam holding all the cards safely in place, posters for each weekly play block, and a flier detailing which cards are for which block. Chef's kiss!

@mr.counterfeit893 2 weeks ago

i backed the neuroscape kickstarter.. i got my product but never got to play because no LGS carried it, starting to seem the same for cyberpunk but there are a few stores in my state that have done events. now i am starting to see Neuroscape packs at Best Buy & Walmart Etc. but im sticking with Cyberpunk even though i really love the RAM resource of neuroscape. great vid

I think your point about Neuroscape players possibly feeling the need to defend or justify it is spot on. Because it released without an IP essentially right alongside CTCG it's not unlikely for people who are less familiar with the two games to view Neroscape as the Palword to CTCG being Pokémon.

I hope both games succeed in their own right as Neuroscape seems like one of the coolest indie TCGs to release since GA.

For me, Neuroscape has better gameplay but Cyberpunk's IP crushes it. I love the anime and the game, they are amongst the best. If somehow we merge the two. Maybe in another universe.

@Crosis101 2 weeks ago

I just point out to people that Cyberpunk TCG is the Third and a Half Card Game based on Cyberpunk TM. Neuroscape is doing what Fantasy Flight did with their Android Netrunner LCG, and making a universe with the right vibes, and as they say in 2020: Style over Substance

@rachel_beaver 2 weeks ago

Very insightful thoughts. I'm completely sold on Cyberpunk and can't wait to see how it evolves. Side note: I LOVE your top-down setup and quality.

Nice video! This really became quite the heated topic. I wish we could just drop this unfolding "class war" right at the beginning of it… there really is enough hate in the world already. As Dan said, there are a lot more players than ever, and I may add that many of those play several TCGs. No need to storm each other's threads and sh** on the game in a roundabout way.

@robstien 2 weeks ago

I have a long history with TCGs dating all the way back to the beginning. Over the decades I have found that I am drawn to games that have complexity in the way of interesting choices. This lead me to Flesh and Blood as the main TCG for me due to this and the high skill expression plus continuous player engagement on both sides every turn. Neuroscape hits these same cords and I am loving every minute of it. Excited to see what the future has in store.

Honestly I have "Big IP" fatigue in TCG these days. Long time SWU player, and super long time Magic player here. Watching Magic bring Big IP into Big IP into their game, then you've got Lorcana, Riftbound, One Piece, Gundam, Naruto coming soon. As someone who has played SWU since the beginning getting your 10th variant of Luke/Darth Vader/etc it starts to wear you down. It's super refreshing to see something new and creative, and I hope they continue that creativity. My understanding is the creators of Neuroscape have been working on their version of Cyberpunk for over 7 years and are trying to get a TV show lined up, if they are able to do so I think it will help a ton of the games visibility. I'm not saying one game is better than the other, but honestly I find the "no Big IP to be held to" refreshing in the TCG space in the age of "Fortnite TCGs" :P.
