“Preoccupied with a single leaf... you won't see the tree. Preoccupied with a single tree... you'll miss the entire forest. See everything in it's entirety... effortlessly”

I been on my Samurai shi as of late. Training Muay Thai and going to the gym, watched The Last Samurai last night, watching Shogun, playing Ghost of Tsushima, and reading Vagabond and finishing off the night with The Book of Five Rings. Life has never been more pleasant.

"I can't do it anymore. I'm a fucking failure."

"My friend. Even Monkeys fall from trees."

"Some say he died. Some say he returned home. But I like to think that he found some small measure of peace, one that we all seek and few rarely find."

We're not going to have movies like this anymore.

Turn off ads cmon. I’ll be in deep meditation and a stupid Burger King ad will pop up

"i believe a man does what he can until his destiny revealed to him."

please don't ever take out this video I. meditate daily to this and the results are astonishing.

How many times have I listened to this song and looked back and remembered my fights against an enemy that I didn't see, I just felt... At 10 years old I had brain cancer, but he gave me valuable lessons, like a man with a beard learned in life!

God, thank you for the obstacles and learning!

"I am one with the Warrior with whom the old ways have joined the new." - Katsumoto translating the engraving on Algren's katana.

I just clicked on this video only because this is my favorite movie, and one of the most underrated that I ever seen.

40:30 - 41:30  - this is the best part, with this droning sound then it all comes together.

1:58:55 - 2:00:00

3:13:39 - 3:14:50

4:31:56 - 4:32:50

Honour may not win power, but it wins respect. And respect earns power. Today is victory over yourself of yesterday; tomorrow is your victory over lesser men. A warrior is worthless unless he rises above others and stands strong in the midst of a storm.

I never realized his poem...."The tigers eyes are like my own, but he comes from across a deep and troubled sea." The Tiger is Algren, and the deep and troubled sea is the hardships and loss Algren has experienced.

2:20:53 - when it leads up to the soft ambiance with the violin it is so amazing.

There is Life in every breath... That is, Bushido.

how much ads do you want? Yes

It’s interesting how life takes on shape and meaning not because you are the creator but because you are an observer of creation, with the ability to see past observations since you are made in the image of God.

The deeper you look the more , that which is under investigation takes on meaning and mass. It’s not revelation but illumination.

The Bible and the understanding of the logos is thus alive and active, yet it was always active even when you weren’t cognizant of it. You’re the creature and God is the creator .

The Reason I point this out is that when I meditated on the word in meditation fashion my mind felt like it slowed down time and reality. Though objectively time is still normal my perception of time slowed exponentially. So when possible read the words of the Holy scriptures and take your time. If you are meant to understand you will be like the man in psalm 1 . Same information and same time passes but the lord reveals who his people are  through his light . Some rocks shine and some darken but at the end one will be like vessel the creator intended you to be .

Soli Deo Gloria ⚔️🙏🏽
