They have such amazing chemistry both on and off screen. Their acting feels so natural too. I just wish the series wasn't so draggy in the middle (around Episodes 22–25). There was barely any progress in their relationship or the auditing/investigation storyline, and it got so frustrating. The whole subplot about Miao Jing's mother coming back and causing trouble until the very end also felt unnecessary. Honestly, I almost dropped the series, but I still wanted to know how everything would turn out, so I kept watching.
I'd say it did get a bit better toward the end, but the last few episodes still felt rushed. We didn't even get Miao Jing's POV during her college years and see how she struggled on her own, or Chen Yi's POV during his time at Jinguo. I also remember Wei Long saying he filmed a specific scene for that wrestling/boxing sequence, but we got nothing. And we didn't even get a proper wedding scene!
So yeah, overall I'd give it a 7/10
Je viens de regarder cette super série. D'habitude je suis plutôt K-drama mais là j'ai été surprise par ce beau couple d'acteurs, l'histoire et la musique. Merci VIKI. ❤❤❤❤🇨🇵
