One of the most influential stylists in the world, Law Roach was born in Southside Chicago and began his career as a vintage broker in 2009. He was the first Black stylist to appear on the cover of The Hollywood Reporter’s Most Powerful Stylist issue, and was named Hollywood’s Most Powerful Stylist of the 2010 decade. He’s also served as a pre-eminent fashion expert on television, having functioned as a recurring judge on competition shows like America’s Next Top Model, Project Runway, RuPaul’s Drag Race, Legendary, and OMG Fashun!. In 2024, he published his first book, How to Build a Fashion Icon: Notes on Confidence from the World’s Only Image Architect. In 2026, he made his Broadway debut as a producer on Cats: the Jellicle Ball.
