Thanks for watching! Starting a new factory can be overwhelming, so I hope this makes your first few hours in Satisfactory a lot smoother.

I’m curious.. What’s the one part of your factory you’re most proud of right now, or is there a specific resource that’s giving you a hard time? Let talk all things Satisfactory here 🛠

I just started playing Satisfactory a few days ago and this is the best beginner's guide I have come upon, particularly for the machine and power connections. Thanks!

This guide made me love a game that i just couldn't digest at first. Truly the best video I've found, I spent a while doing so before jumping in. Thanks for this!

I have watched many "Guides" for Satisfactory and other games I play - This is BY FAR the best one I've ever seen! The explanations are on-point to help you understand the "why" in everything that goes into it. I'm addicted to this video - Subscribed and Liked - will be watching many more from Vadd Guides and telling my gaming buddies!

Another fairly easy Coal Power setup is 3 Water Pumps and 8 Generators. That will work out to be 120 (8*15) Coal per minute along with 360m^3 (3*120) of water per minute. The pipes are the only limiting factor here as they can only handle 300m^3 of water. This can be dealt with though if one of the water pumps supplies its water somewhere in the middle of the set up. I like the following, where P= pipe supplying water and G = Coal Generator: P G G G G P G G G G P To use this setup, it is best to find 2 normal or pure Coal Nodes (If you have Mk2 belts, a single Pure node will suffice. Once you have Mk2 Minders, you can expand the power production nicely)

Edit: With 1.2, a player starting a New Game can set Node Purity to have only Pure nodes which ought to make things a little easier too.

Hi,, so I've been following your video, but I jumped ahead on my own and did all 6 hub upgrades. So I paused your video to go back and make portable miner but everything is greyed out.

Enjoying the journey here. I am really bad at this so I have to follow along. However, I am noting some differences that intrigue me. At 1:29:19, I put down the splitter but can not place the 2 smelters so close together. It is as if I have to leave enough room between the smelters to accommodate a smelter between the two so as to utilize the 3 outputs of the splitter. So my layout takes a bit more room than does yours. Otherwise, having a lot of fun, taking my time and probably getting ahead with some things. Like I already power all the ground stuff so far from the platform. When I get through this, I will take some time and peruse your channel.
