New Super Mario Bros. ... is old. Nice work Nintendo. Now that it's grown up a bit, how well does it compare to the original classic Mario games, and what's so 'new' about it?

How come no ones ever talk about the fact that Mario says goodbye to you every time you close the ds with the game still on. When I was a kid and heard him my mind was blown. I was so amazed by the smallest thing ever. I love Nintendo doing these things.

Is it just me or did this game actually look better on the ds than what's being shown on screen

This game was so cool and fresh.
Then Nintendo sorta ruined the series by making the same game 4 times...

You forgot about when Mario says "bye bye" when you close your DS and "Itsa me, Mario!" When you open it again :O
I was fascinated by this when I was a child.

New Super Mario bros was my first mario game. I had SO much fun playing it, I even tried to 100% the game
Somehow I did a glitch and bought something without the required amount of star coins, and then the star coins wouldn't work anymore, so rip that dream
