Council House crackdown has had it's intentionally diversionary day. Now it's time for 'Tax Haven Crackdown' and 'Government Corruption Crackdown'. Let's tell the truth about who the real criminals are.
Did no one at the council think it was unusual that a woman born in Scotland was only capable of making her applications to the council in Turkish? This fraud should have been detected on day 1 of her application.
Kudos to the councilworker lady who handled 9 years of katrins constant complaints. The urge to visit that woman in jail and ask her “how you like your accommodations now b!tch?” Would have overwhelmed me 😂
Im so grateful for my little council flat. I was homeless for 10 months having lost my home and business because of Covid. I didn’t know anything about the area and it was definitely somewhere I was apprehensive about moving too. I have disabilities and I spend a lot of time at home. I love and look after it and can’t believe how lucky I am to get it. 💕
Can’t tell you how mad this makes me!, I was told by my council at 19 on the verge of homelessness that it would be ten years to wait for one. Yet if you are a freeloading person they just dish them out it seems. Honest working people get screwed over so much
so katrine butun got 2.5 years. doubtless she served less than one. she got a free house for many years and a pile of money. I would bet that the 4 properties were not disposed of to pay back the money. so overall she walks away with a lot in return for serving very little prison time.
This woman from turkey really rubs me the wrong way. I am disabled because of a birth defect I worked until I was 43 years old. I never started claiming disability benefits until years of hospitalizations and illnesses because I really didn’t need the money because made enough marriage. I remember the judge ask me why did it take me so long for something that I deserved. Just recently I started receiving benefits and insurance which I pay out of my pocket $1000 a month. My heart goes out for anybody that is disabled because I can understand how they struggle each day with all the demands of every day life. But then you have this woman from Turkey who scams the Home from someone who actually needs it and on top of it she is an even a British citizen. I hope after watching many of these shows that they now can cross reference many of these individuals so it is caught right away. I do believe that we do need to help the most vulnerable individuals in our countries so the individual can live with dignity.
I think if there was a serious fine and prison time for at least a decade people would think twice about stealing from the council.
Why are natural born Brits not given priority over everyone else? They should have a family legacy that can be traced, and then given priority. All these foreigners that probably didn't pay into the system or much into it should not be housed before the country's own. It's ridiculous.
