In this episode, Lene tells her story. She grew up in an outwardly unremarkable academic family. Behind this facade, she experienced years of organized sexual abuse in her own home. To survive, she developed dissociative identity disorder. She describes how different parts of herself emerged, what blackouts and co-consciousness feel like, and why she had difficulty processing her memories as a child.
Lene talks about being forbidden to speak, manipulation, and the experience of no one paying attention, even though she was sending signals. When the abuse ended with a move, the trauma remained active within her. During puberty, her body image shifted dramatically. She develops anorexia and experiences hospitalizations, pressure, forced feeding, and numerous further hospitalizations. Later, she enters a period of severe suicidal ideation, over-medication, and an addiction problem that leads her into a second circle of abusers.

Allerspätestens jetzt, mit den Epstein-Files, Gisèle Pélicot und Geschichten wie Lenes, muss allen klar sein, dass "ganz normale", hoch angesehene Menschen hinter verschlossenen Türen grauenvolle Dinge tun können...
Es tut weh zu hören, dass Lene über so viele Jahre keine Hilfe bekommen hat. Weder von ihrem Umfeld, noch von Therapeut:innen. Was für einen unglaublichen Überlebenswillen sie haben musste, um das alles durchzustehen.

wenn die Täter die ganzen Schmerzen nachempfinden müssen, die sie anderen angetan haben. Keine Worte passen auf diese abgrundtiefe Bösartigkeit.
Wie stark muss man sein, dass man so etwas überleben kann. Was diese Kinderseele ertragen/ausblenden musste, ist kaum auszuhalten.
Ich hoffe, dass mit Unterstützung eine bestmögliche Seelenheilung im Laufe des Lebens möglich ist und dass das Leben als Ausgleich noch viel Schönes bereithält.
