They're flat out wrong on The Frighteners here. That movie found its fans later and it's considered a gem now. Gene saying that Michael J. Fox was essentially too wholesome for this movie is pretty gross and limiting.

Peter Jackson finally made a big name for himself when he made The Lord of the Rings.

Siskel and Ebert are flat out morons, I can’t believe they even had a show or a column what so ever. The more I watch them review films the more clear it is they had no clue what they were talking about.
