Kebnekaise is the most remote peak on this peak project of climbing the highest peak in every european country. 50 km of trekking over 3 days, an overnight train and bus rides from Stockholm to the highest mountain in Sweden, above the arctic circle.
This is a mountain that many Swedes try to conquer and it's not one to be taken lightly - mostly because your backpack is so heavy and it's the most remote peak in my peak project 😉

As a mentioned at the Stockholm gathering, the quality silence in the north is just magical, you then responsended "you think this (the sounds with the people in the park) is noisy, you should experience how noisy it gets in the south of Europe!

Im Swedish and I’m going to Kebnekaise myself (for the second time) in about three weeks. But I will start my hike from Abisko.
