Understandable right decision.
What I look for in a motorcycle luggage set is: good integration with the frame, no vibrations, sturdiness, and practicality.
I don't need USB chargers, lights, or central heating.

No need of electricity in side-cases or top-case, it is a gadget potentially creating issues, and for what ?
You are perfectly right to focus on what is important and that's exactly what BMW does not do for luggage because they have light inside but it is even not waterproof!!!
Continue to make robust, waterproof and good looking luggage and forget fancy and useless things.
You do a wonderful engineering on luggage, better than BMW and it has to be written/said because true.

No need of electrical connection for side cases specially since I also use the inner bags, I use OEM top case and your aluminium paniers, top case electrical connection satisface all my needs and still can use the usb located in the front tank or the electrical plug of the speedometer . Not really interested in additional rear lights since would not be legal in Spain and to try to make them legal would cost a fortune.

For a light and USB charger the extra expense isn’t worth it, and just more to go wrong on an already complicated motorcycle

Smart reason to not do it….yet. If it becomes a standard connection like USB-C did, then I could see that being done. At this point, the wait and see approach for this new non standardized connector is the better approach. Maybe a small solar panel connected to an internal rechargeable LED light might be a short term path?

I don't agree with the others. The charging ability is a nice feature to have when you are on long hauls.  However, there are other options to utilize so its not an issue to see if you have that option at another time down the road.  Keep focusing on making good reliable bags and you will have customers for life.  we can find ways around adding more power....if needed.

you can make direct connection to the battery with usb and light in the case its easy but if i do it i have to drill the case to pass the wire

For me, integrating the trunks with the motorcycle is essential. Being without a USB port, for example, is complicated because I want to install a Starlink on the bike and need to charge it via USB. Or at night, when I don't open the trunk, I want to have a light. For me, that is fundamental. Not having this feature means losing a lot of usefulness. That is why I chose BMW's own trunks.

Prąd od lat posiadam w kufrze centralnym . Zamontowalem wtyczkę wodoszczelną. Przewody poprowadzone z aku (przekaźnik bezpiecznik)pod siedzeniem i do kufra. Rozwiązuje to problem z can i błędami. Druga ładowarka na wzmocnionej luźnej wiązce tak aby można było zapakować do sakwy lewej lub prawej.
