The wooden angle piece is a book holder for cook books. It is angled so the books don't tip over.

The "pantomime cup" is a men's shaving cup. Cake of soap to lather in top and brush stored in the side lip while shaving face.

I think, that pan with the "holes" that Grandma asked if it was an egg cooker , is an Aebleskivers pan. My grandma has a cast iron one when i was little. Its  a Danish donut hole.

Davy Crockett fought and died at The Battle of the Alamo (February 23 – March 6, 1836),  a pivotal event in the Texas Revolution. Following a 13-day siege, Mexican troops under President General Antonio López de Santa Anna reclaimed the Alamo Mission near San Antonio de Béxar (modern-day San Antonio, Texas, United States), killing most of the Texians and Tejanos inside. Santa Anna's cruelty during the battle inspired many Texians and Tejanos to join the Texian Army. Buoyed by a desire for revenge, the Texians defeated the Mexican Army at the Battle of San Jacinto, on April 21, 1836, ending the rebellion in favor of the newly-formed Republic of Texas.

Hi grandma and Wade the "pantomime cup is actually a shaving mug the soap goes in the top with the hot water in the mug and the shaving brush goes into the water via the "spout" hope this helps love your videos !

Metal tankards often come with a glass bottom. The legend is that the glass-bottomed tankard was developed as a way of refusing the King's shilling, i.e., conscription into the British Army or Navy. The drinker could see the coin in the bottom of the glass and refuse the drink, thereby avoiding conscription by not taking the money.

38:50 is a book holder...the slant helps the books stay upright

The flash bulbs go in the center of the “antenna” thing.  It is an old-school flash that connects to a camera, to flash as the shutter is opened.

The music box tune is "We Wish You A Merry Christmas", and the parts should be loose. The skaters have magnets on their bottoms, and there are moving magnets under the 'ice', so all of the skaters move all by themselves, while the different tiers rotate too.

That 2 handled pan at 30:19 is an omlet/fish pan .  Super Maid is from Switzerland and was imported in the 20's and 30's

the exposure meter is for photography.  It told you how much light was available at any given day or time of day so you could set the f-stops on your old film camera appropriately.  Nowadays our smart cameras have built in exposure meters.

At 1840 the red music box with the two green tree shapes is playing "We Wish You A Merry Christmas"!

Pantomime is a comical play put on over Xmas time. Very British. It is just a print on the shaving mug. A bar of shaving soap goes on the top, hot water goes in the bottom and a stubby brush dips in the hot water and then rub on the soap to make a lather to brush over the face before shaving. Rinse the brush in the hot water. My Dad used one every day until he died 4 years ago.

Those beer glasses with the grooves down the sides are just like the ones they has in pubs in the UK during the 40s.

You both have me laughing so hard about the cup you think is x rated.  If you look really good, you will see it's a pig snout.  Love you guys!!
