Fischer Random is so much fun to watch. I really enjoy how game starts right away, instead of dragging through an extended book-knowledge phase and the fairly even positions they tend to yield. It's exciting to see how quickly strong imbalances occur on the board and how players can recover from them like in the first tie-break match between Magnus and Firouzja, where Magnus managed to turn a losing position into a win.
One wonders whether if Alireza had found the equalizing move when Magnus was under time pressure whether that would have resulted in a different result.
