Fighting Electro Hypostasis in ascension quest

The "disengaging wind glider" voice lines, all of them got removed in 2.7.

A true forgotten thing in Genshin?

The glider bomb dropping mechanic that appears in the Amber tutorial domain and never again

One more forgotten thing? The Boar boss on the ice mountain that f'd me up multiple times when I was a noob. And they decided not to add it on other animals. A one true Legendary Local Legend of the old era.

I remember a time when Dragonspine was just a default Mountain.

Someone leaving the domain early wasn't even the worst troll move of number 4. The worst was that Anemo characters like Jean and Venti could use their abilities to pull all of the rewards off the edge of the platform.

Nobody remembers Rukkhadevata

Remember the loach pearl I thought it was a material for upgrading characters but until now no one needs it and it became forgotten after 4 years.

Random event: meeting Lianne under an apple tree just bitching about not finding any apples... 🤣 (or mushrooms or whatever would be visible just one step away...)

alternate sprints (like ayaka and mona) have also been forgotten/discontinued ! :(

- Back in 1.0, burning grass dealt damage based on the player's World Level, and it scaled HARD. At max rank at the time, burning grass would deal upwards of 2k damage per tick.
- Geo, Electro, and Hydro resonances used to be different.
- You couldn't place Paimon inside the Serenitea Pot back in the day.
- Back then, you couldn't directly teleport into the Serenitea Pot. You HAD to use the teapot item just to get into the Serenitea Pot.
- Back in the day, you couldn't access the Crafting Bench if you accidentally talked to Timaeus(right now, you can ask him to use the Bench if you talk to him).
- Barbara's voice was more hoarse and tomboyish from release to 1.3.
- There was a time when Diona had a different voice during the latter half of her Hangouts where she was temporarily voiced by Xiangling's VA(EN dub only; this was fixed halfway through the Inazuma updates).
- Similar to the one above, during a similar timeframe, Keqing also had some voice lines which were initially done by Sucrose's VA before later being fixed(in the same update as Diona's voice mismatch).
- There used to be an exploit in Liyue Harbor that could get you inside the Jade Chamber even after it was destroyed during Liyue's first set of Archon Quests(this was later fixed during the AQ where the Jade Chamber is rebuilt).

Mentioning Fate Points without mentioning the Homa Incident is lowkey criminal. We owe it to Tectone's horrible luck that we got that system in the first place lmao

Remember those Challenge Domains?
We never got those again after Sumeru

Mondstat and Liyue had some achievements tied to specific daily commissions which rarely appear.
They stopped giving fishing weapons since Natlan.
Rarely used gadgets like portable cooking stove, air generator, Inazuman fan, crystalfly trap, seeds and wood collector.
Stopped playing the battlepass cut scene every new update.

3:24 Day 1 player here. I completed the entire event and my stupid ass did not understand I was supposed to exchange shards for Fischl.

Aloy was kinda forced on Hoyo by Sony in order to allow crossave. From the very beginning Genshin devs said they don't wanna do collab characters and only focus on Genshin's own characters and lore. They did the absolute bare minimum to do their part of the deal and otherwise pretended she doesn't exist. Cosssave is also likely why they added the playstation restiction to the sword retroatively because originally only people on playstation could have it but after account linking became a thing, playstation exclusive content could've been used on PC which is an issue for Sony. They had to go as far as lock any purchases to the playstation, so playstation players who linked their PS account and played it on PC cannot access the genesis crystals they got through PSN purchase, all ingame purchase options are disabled to make sure you continue to only use PSN for purchases and you cant even claim your paid battle pass rewards on PC.
You can circumvent this if you use web top up, but even then those genesis crystals will be a seperate count different from PS genesis crystals.
I wonder if accounts with these restrictions will finally be freed after PS4 version shuts down or if they will just be like "just buy PS5".

Aloy is now back into the game: they renamed her "Manekina"... 🤣

plays since 1.0
Welkin + BP
never had Wolf's Gravestone

ahh yes the Staff of Homeless incident because we didnt have fate points back then 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

From what I know, around Mizuki's release (5.4) I think the prerelease character web events got discontinued, they were still there for Mavuika and Citlali, but eversince then, nothing, instead of the 60 primos from the web events,we get codes now
