Nadine Lustre and her boyfriend, French-Filipino entrepreneur Christophe “Chris” Bariou, have embraced a slower, nature-centered lifestyle in Siargao. Away from the fast pace of city life, the couple spends much of their time immersed in the island’s surf culture, sustainability, and local community while growing their shared business ventures.

And for the first time, Chris shares his battle with cancer, “I told I just had a few weeks to live” and how Nadine stood by him through it all.
