lol rly? you only showcase 3 restaurants that will already show up on every 'where to eat in montreal' list... why not give some shine to some lesser known spots for once?

Honestly Schwartz is fine. Its not worth the massive line for lunch. If you want smoked meat, either go to Schwartz at like Wednesday at 7 pm, or go to a different place like Snowdon Deli

I'm a Montrealer and I never eat poutine, smoked meat nor bagels. I've eaten at Mon Lapin twice, and it rocks. There are plenty of other great tables in Montreal that aren't in the tourist videos.

Here in Cyprus 🇨🇾, hallumi is our go to squeaky cheese. I also ask forgiveness to Canadians but when I was there for six months, I just couldn’t get into poutine 😬 😢. However if I’d tried that last one, I’m sure I would’ve been hooked.

If you're out in the east end look up Mama Sophia for authentic papusas, and other salvadoran delcacies. A real hidden gem that not many know about.

7:12 pâté chinois is Quebec’s shepherd’s pie or hachis Parmentier , not Chinese pâté. Nice quick MTL food tour Laurent, though you can’t go to Schwartz before 10 am 😊
