Every year on our birthdays my friends and i give each other steam games as gifts, and last year for my birthday my bestie root beer got me ALL OF THE KAO THE KANGAROO games, if you’ve never heard of them neither have i. And ever since then he’s been hounding me to play them
And you know what I think it’s time I give him what he wants… but not in the way he wants it. I’m gonna learn how to speedrun one of these games and then beat it in five minutes right in front of his eyes… and hopefully ruin his day
But first I need to decide which one to run. There are 4 games in the franchise and I want the speedrun to be as fast as possible so let’s look. Kao 1 seems pretty quick, kao 2 is a little longer than the first and… YES, that's perfect, the world record for Kao the kangaroo and the mystery of the volcano is 6 minutes that’s the one. Let’s watch the world record and see what’s up
Well that first trick jump was pretty easy now it’s time for the trick that skips the WHOLE ENTIRE game, and the world record speedrun doesn’t make it look easy. I tried this method for a bit and got absolutely nowhere, just fail after fail after fail so I decided to check the top guide on speedrun .com which was entirely in polish.
