You paint paint. It's beautiful 😍

Best watercolour video I've seen in ages. I feel that I can actually do these techniques. 😊

The techniques are:
1) wet paint into wet paint to get a spontaneous mix of colours; use amount of water and incline to control the flow. Add details with a fine brush at the end.
2) Damp paper, smooth layer of colour, when still damp introduce water or wetter colour to create blooms.  Create sharp details after it is dry with the fine brush.
3) use alone, in abstracts. Apply moisture to make damp paper, paint a loose composition, and spatter with water or another colour of paint, varying the drop size. Amazing texture. Add details when dry.
4) Natural specks. create leaves on trees, snow, sand, anything irregular, by spray varying sizes of drops of water onto dry paper and touch tiny points of colour which slowly connects itself. Chance takes over.  You can add a few lines to connect or refine the compensation. Single or multiple colours.
5) put tiny blobs of paint thickly directly on the paper, spritz on paint w water, mop up any pools you don’t want. Less control of paint with this.  Move the paint if needed. Spray more. Dry, notice incredible texture, drips, seeming granulation and mixed colours, add another layer.
6) paint wet on dry, dry with hairdryer completely. Add plain water over dry painting, then introduce wet into wet, and blow it around with hairdryer. Can be used as an under painting. The blooms create texture, now you can add details.
7) use a straw to blow the paint colours along a prepainted course or let a drop of paint flow, great for branches.  You can repeat it overtop with another colour or different direction. Add details, shadows, springlike light.
8) you need a  palette knife or sharper metal edge, paint some wet florals, change the incline to mix different colours, then connect the florals by dragging lines through all the wet florals and the colours bleed and combine. You can repeat this after it dries. You can spatter paint over the dry work to get little beads of colour.
9) make a water wash or spray paper, put tiny drops of different colours of paint onto a fan brush, and start dabbing it around on the wet paper; the paint and swirls mix, you can spray more, manipulate with a brush, sprinkle salt, lift some of the colour with a dried brush, dry it and add definition and details as it dries and when it is completely dry. Useful on a larger scale.
10)Apply or spray water, add wet paint on wet, various colours, use something sharp to scratch details back (100% cotton paper is best) while paint is wet. Add more details. Can use this in small parts of a larger painting!!

Madam,  I do NOT give compliments freely; however,  with that said:  you've mailed it.  This is exactly how one should show, review and "swatch" paints.  This is a proper paint review.  Swatching tells nothing of how the paints react, preform, etc. Only by using and doing can one know how paints will react.  If I could subscribe twice I would.  Bravo!

Wow, as a beginner with watercolor THIS is what my heart just calls out to. It's not the perfection of detail, which I could do, but this lose just magical painting is where I want to go. I work with stained glass mainly and have sat that aside for a little bit to learn another medium to push myself more, shocking it may be but it is a stress reliever for me to experiment with other mediums. I used to enjoy doing the "pour paintings" and then when they would dry I would go back and pick out the different things I would see in the way the paint settled on my canvas and it would come out to some of the most wonderful, different scenes or figures. I really enjoyed that. But what you show here is what I have been trying to achieve with watercolor and just couldn't really get down how to start. So thank you for the many helpful tips. Thank you for not gatekeeping art, and for sharing what you know. All of us out here who are self taught appreciate you more than you could ever know!
