I never thought I’d come this close to something so dangerous…
This is the story of the time I was stung by one of the world’s most feared jellyfish, and what it actually felt like in the moment.
After that experience, I became fascinated with these deadly creatures… and realised I’d never properly seen one.
So I packed up camp, hit the road in my camper van and went searching for them along the coast, from remote beaches to stinger nets and known hotspots - trying to find out just how real the danger really is.
