If you ever find something nightmarishly illegal on one of these consoles, I recommend calling a skilled lawyer immediately. You basically have to do something, as destroying evidence of someone else's crime is illegal, but just having a console someone put that on is dangerous. The worst case scenario, the police think you downloaded it. Idk what the laws are, but computer repair guys report this stuff all the time.

Sad to think that dog has probably passed away already 🥲

I watched this entire video expecting the unfiction/horror part to start any minute, but it never did 😂

My guess is someone at the Goodwill found out how much Wii Sports copies go for and just checked them all.

Does doing this ever feel depressing to you? All of these consoles represent people's memories and childhoods abandoned.

The video was definitely the hand sanitizer burn trick. It gets rid of the hand sanitizer but doesn't hurt you if you put it out.

5:10 I just want to let you know that any Wii Menu like this one where you do not see an SD card icon, is anything pre 4.0. Most probably system menu 3.x or something like that. The change from the 3.x to 4.x versions was mainly an upgrade to the SD card functionality. To keep things in mind, system menu 4.0 was released in March 25, 2009. So basically, a Wii menu without an SD card icon hasn't been updated after that date.

I don't know about you, but when I sell a console or anything, I completely factory reset everything.

I may not be entirely right on this, but Wii sports resort and fit can be played without custom miis you've make, those two titles actually supply their own "Guest" Miis you can use instead. The big caveat is that they don't save your progress at all.

THRLLME, "Thrill Me"? Maybe the guy was a huge "Night Of The Creeps Fan"

Goodwill advertising "untested consoles" doesn't mean the person who donated them didn't test them and remove the games.

10:00 hope the owners get to see those pics one more time

About the console with Wii Fit Plus and Wii Sports Resort save data but no Miis on it, it's possible that the old owner used Guest Miis to play the games.

12:40 the disk tray cover was probably intentionally removed to play burned games. A launch disk was used to prime the load, up to the point a specific tool was used to manually open the tray, so the launch program wouldn't be reset by hitting eject.
