They actually incorporated sign language in this choreo! Its the little things in their mvs that makes them so thoughtful ❤

Fun fact Ryan Gosling wore an outfit similar to Jimins in the barbie movie, he said Jimin wore it better and ended up giving Jimin his guitar he used for Ken in the movie

I saw a video of children in a deaf school watching this video. They SQUEALED with delight when they saw the sign language. It brought tears to my eyes.

Fun fact:- it was V who said to bts to include sign language 😊

Today is Jimin's birthday, our mochi 🫡

There was a teaser video that came out before this MV. One of them was holding a newspaper that said "purple balloons will signify the end of Covid". We were still in the depths of Covid then, but this was a hopeful video that the end would come. They said they used simple choreography so everyone could learn it and they included a lot of sign language to be more inclusive. If you watch the MV behind the scenes, you will see that they tethered all the balloons so they wouldn't be released and harm the environment. BTS and their team are always careful of things like that. The dancing at the end was all their team...their stylists, hairdressers, makeup artists, performance director and previous and current CEOs of their agency. I like the format of MV, dance practice and live performance...thank you for doing that. If you ever want to dive even deeper, there is almost always a behind the scene making of the MV which are fun to watch too.

17:39 it is a sign language about
Peace: The final move involves making a "V" with the index and middle fingers of both hands, representing peace.
Fun: The "fun" gesture is a scratching motion made in front of the chest, with fingers spread and slightly bent.
Dance: The "dance" sign involves moving two fingers (index and middle) from side to side on top of the other hand's palm, which represents dancing on a stage. I was V idea to include in the choreography 💜💜

They also perform this song live at the UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY HALL 🥰

This is one of the three all-English songs they released (Butter, Dynamite, Permission To Dance) during the covid-19 pandemic. Notice also a choreography using sign language. It was Jungkook who jumped and smiled at the camera. 💜

Sign language was V's idea 💡❤❤

Jungkook emo look❤❤❤ and that spin always Iconic for me.

Great reaction. Someone told the actor who played Ken in the recent Barbie movie that Jimin had worn the black fringed cowboy outfit before him, so, as a gift, he sent Jimin the guitar he had used in the film.
Song was meant to be joyful to cheer people during the pandemic.
There is an iconic video of a performance of this song at the United Nations in New York.

Today is Jimin's Birthday guys 💜..

The way I genuinely LOVE this channel is not normal. Like they way they react feels so real and natural, you just want to see more and more. ❤

Happy birthday to our JIMMIN🎉

You would probably enjoy their performance of this song at the UN. It’s a little mind blowing to know that they got “permission to dance” and sing in that space! So proud of our boys! 💜

Also, Happy Birthday Jimin!!!
(It’s already the 13th in Korea!😊)

Hi Ralaz! I'm loving your BTS reactions coz I'm an ARMY myself 😄 you might want to get into the BTS Universe (BU) 👀 i love your insights from your BTS reactions and would love to hear your thoughts about the BU. This can be overwhelming though and if you will get into it, you might want to prepare yourself as this goes beyond their music coz the BU is kinda like the Marvel Universe 👀

Basically, BU is a fictional, interconnected story world created by BigHit Entertainment/BigHit Music and BTS members, beginning in 2015 with their "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life" album series/era. It is told through MVs, short films, webtoon, books, and game, featuring fictional characters based on the BTS members that explore themes of youth, friendship, hardship, and the transitions into adulthood. The characters' names in the BU used the real names of each member of BTS (hence the interconnected part). If you remember, RM's real name is Kim Namjoon (Kim being the surname and Namjoon being the first name), Jin - Kim Seokjin, SUGA - Min Yoongi, j-hope - Jung Hoseok, Jimin - Park Jimin, V - Kim Taehyung, Jung Kook - Jeon Jungkook.

Before getting into it though, what I meant about preparing yourselves is when you watched enough MVs (better if you already watched all of the MVs), listened to enough songs, and knew BTS in a deeper level. Maybe when you react to "I Need U" MV, ARMY might comment the gist of it.

Not all BTS videos are part of the BU by the way. You'll know that it's part of it when you see in the description box of the video saying "BU content certified by Big Hit Entertainment" at the bottom. I strongly suggest to watch the videos with English subtitles. BigHit didn't provide Eng subs on some videos.

Take note:
- The lyrics of the songs sometimes don't tie up with the story so it's better to focus more on the visuals and each of the member's interaction with each other.
- There will be ARMYs who will be sharing their own theories that really does make sense or that's what's happening, but do know that it's still a theory and you will know at the end what actually happened 👀 Be careful not to spoil yourselves.

⚠️Trigger warning: As the BU contains each of the members' hardships, some MVs contains content related to drugs, suicide, and murder. Please proceed with caution.

So here's the list (in order) that is part of the BU:

Take note: Be careful when reacting to Japanese versions coz you might get copyrighted (they're much more strict I guess).

If you want to deep dive more about the BU, there are books called "The Notes 1" and "The Notes 2" plus the mini notes found on each version of the Love Yourself and Map Of The Soul physical albums, and there's also a game called "BTS Universe Story". But I think you can skip this part. Don't worry coz it's already included in xCeleste's BU storyline summary video. She also made a summary video of the game if you want to check that out: https://youtu.be/CiKgPJ6s7LM?si=EIFX4xf4hFbsJRDN

Fun facts:
- The BU started in 2015 when they released their 3 EP/mini album "화양연화 pt.1" pronounced as "HwaYangYeonHwa (HYYH) pt.1" (the English title is "The Most Beautiful Moment In Life, Part 1") with its title song "I Need U".
- The story has no name when HYYH got released in 2015 until BigHit announced in 2017 that there is indeed a story going on in some MVs and officially called it the BTS Universe "BU". So imagine ARMYs being SO LOST after watching "I Need U" MV especially the Original ver 😆 and it's been going on for who knows how long.
- Before jumping into the BU WINGS era, you might want to read the summary of the book titled "Demian" to better understand the visuals that you will see bcoz WINGS era has sooooo many symbolism that references the book (also search what Abraxas looks like). Here's the link that I've found for the summary (15 pgs): https://hesse.projects.gss.ucsb.edu/works/demian.pdf
- There's already a Korean drama for this called "Begins ≠ Youth", but they changed BTS' character names so that the people who are still getting into BTS won't get confuse between the real Namjoon and the BU Namjoon when searching online. If you will watch it, you might want to search the names of the characters in the drama to identify who's who or you want to separate the drama to the original story coz my friend told me they changed some parts (I haven't watched it coz I don't have time yet 😭). It was released on Xclusive: https://xclusive.market/en/content/beginsyouth

If you have any questions, let me know. You might want to take some notes also as there are so many videos to watch (coz maybe everything you see or notice has meaning 👀) and a webtoon to read. Otherwise, enjoy! Love you guys and keep doing what makes you happy 😄
