■Five-Ingredient Shirataki Noodles (3-4 servings)
【Ingredients】
Shirataki noodles 2 packs (300g), pork belly slices 150g, carrots 60g, burdock root 150g, chives 5 stalks, shiitake mushrooms 3, sansho pepper powder a pinch, sesame oil 1 tbsp
A (sake 3 tbsp, soy sauce 2 tbsp, sugar 1.5 tbsp)
【Instructions】
① Cut the carrots into thin strips.
Slice the burdock root thinly.
Soak in water briefly and drain.
Cut the chives into 4-5cm lengths.
Slice the shiitake mushrooms thinly.
② Cut the pork into approximately 1cm wide pieces.
③ Blanch the shirataki noodles in boiling water and drain them in a colander.
Cut them into bite-sized pieces with kitchen scissors.
④ Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a frying pan.
Add the shirataki noodles and stir-fry over medium heat until crispy.
Add the pork and stir-fry, breaking it apart as you go.
⑤ Once the pork is partially cooked, add the burdock root and carrots and stir-fry until softened.
Add mixture A and mix well.
Add the shiitake mushrooms and chives.
Stir-fry until almost all the liquid from the seasonings has evaporated.
Taste and adjust the seasoning with a pinch of salt.
Sprinkle with sansho pepper powder and mix everything together.
