this is honestly the happiest I've ever seen him in a video XD

He was born in this place and has lived here for 40 years. He has witnessed the city transform from a small farming village into a sprawling metropolis. Whether it is a ghost town or an economic bubble, he deeply loves this place and is even willing to spend his time showing you the best parts of his city for free, hoping you can share in his pride. This Chinese fellow is truly admirable, even though he is just a humble taxi driver.

When a random dude in China turns out to be one of the best dates you've ever had.  Quite the whirlwind romance.

This has made me realize that I know absolutely nothing about China.

the news media can sometimes make u forget the world is full of good people who just want the same things as you. this was a nice reminder.

That taxi driver may represent the majority of Chinese people who want to make this country better through their hard work! Great!

The lady who sat next to you in the train said "Welcome to China" to you

Man, that driver is such a gem of a person. Imagine if everyone on earth was that solid of a person? We'd be THRIVING.

When I saw the driver say that everyone in China hopes for world peace, my eyes became wet. What a beautiful soul, what a lovely China!

When the driver showed up I thought he was a passionate liar or clown, but later I found out that this guy was a true patriot who loved the place where he lived so much that he wanted to show the best of his hometown to foreigners. As a Chinese, I felt ashamed of myself.

When you were bargaining with the driver, I was a bit worried about you because I could tell that the driver didn't really care about $10 or $4. I was concerned that he might have other intentions. But after watching your video, I understood that he wanted to introduce his hometown through your camera, so he didn’t mind whether you paid $10 or $4. He even put aside his own work to show you around—what a wonderful person!

多么淳朴的的士司机，他这么爱自己的家乡，自己的国家，他希望让远方来的客人对家乡有一个好印象，内蒙人的热情豪爽在他身上体现的淋漓尽致。被他感动了。

In China, when people say they don’t have change, they mean it, that’s why he went to a convenient store and paid for some change

I have never seen you laugh like this ever around anyone other than this guy. I guess you found your true love man

the taxi driver just want more and more people come to visit his city and love it, he does not care wasting time or money. how a great man, he is proud of his hometown and his country.

The subtitles kill me lol.
The Chinese people are so friendly, if only our Governments would stop making it seem like we all hate each other.

You remind me of my son. He just decides to go somewhere on the planet by himself and takes the roads less traveled. He always calls me and says, "Guess where I am?" He's been to China 3 times and loved it. He said the people are the friendliest he's ever met.

I do understand the driver's motivation, this is how Chinese people in small inland cities are, always excited to see outsiders and eager to tell you that his hometown is not bad compared to the big city. He's happy that you're praising his hometown, which is something money can't bring.

4$ is absolutely nothing in China, for sure the simple ride would have been more than that

He just wanted to show you the city🎉
