What is your favorite part of this original tale and does it change the way you think of the Disney re-imagining?

Jesus such a dark version of Cinderella, I LOVE IT! cuts off her toe to get her foot in the shoe? my god this is perfect

No bippity boppity boo in this tale lol. How did they change a tree into a fairy godmother?!? Also the prince is kinda creepily obsessed.

Wow, so different than the modernized one. I really prefer this one in that she solved her problems without the help of a fairy godmother, in harmony with nature she created a path of escape! Boy, the stepsisters suffered in this version too, WOW! Thanks for creating these. It's good to be exposed to or reminded of the original. :-)

18:00 "Turned pale with anger,"
"With anger," my ass: that was blood loss.

1:21 - "And died."
Miscast Reads making the story sadder than it has to be. Love it! ❤

The evil actually came from the wicked stepmother and her daughters were a product of her own mentality. She was also willing to have them dismember them selves by chopping off heels and a big toe. I feel that the daughters were just as much of a victim of the stepmother as Cinderella was… The violence is really horrific.

I knew the original story of this one, but still great to listen to it! Some origin stories are so different compared to the disney versions. The biggest difference is the sisters cutting off parts of their feet in order to fit the slipper and the eyes cut out. Love it again! LOoking forward to more!

As a young girl back in the 90's, Cinderella was one of my favorite Disney Princess. Today was the first time I heard the original story and boy was I surprised! Onto the next...

How you narrated the story is great and the sound effects go really well with it. Awesome job.

The messed up thing is that the dad was alive and not dead like in Disney and still Cinderella got abused

The pigeons are so freaking creepy when they are saying the shoes are too tight

We had to do original Grimm fairy takes in my “literature for children” class, I did a deep dive into Little Red Riding Hood and The Little Mermaid. Sheer horror- I loved it.

I’m so glad you started doing voiceover cause your voices are great. Loving the whole series. This is way different from the Disney classic and I love it!

@TheRealPsychicLeoBrown 2 years ago

My favorite part of this is the stepsisters voices. You betta embrace that inner diva! Hear?! It doesn't change the re-imagining. As I know Disney "takes license" with tales. However, I like this better as it is dark, but it is real. 😘❤🌻
