Ever wonder what Christmas markets are like in Northern Italy? With Christmas just around the corner, we've been taking full advantage of the seasonal markets in and around our area to show you a bit of what to expect! In this video we take you to Bardolino (Lake Garda) and two other markets in Verona. We loved experiencing the different markets during this holiday season and it was fun to see the similarities and differences between Northern Italy and Austrian and German markets.

Happy Anniversary! Y'all have grown so much as individuals and as a couple in just the time you've had this channel. Italian Christmas Markets seem to be more kid oriented with all the rides. Interesting that they have the Christmas stuff all in a "market/store area" at least that's how I am seeing it. Your video made my morning. This last week has been tough 🤧 and this perked me up. Praying for a healthy Christmas....

Wilal is so cute, and she sounds SO italian. Great to see how she develops, and it seems the big steps come around the same time as with our older daughter and others. Beautiful video! Cannot wait to get back to Lake Garda in spring.

yes, lake garda is close to the alps so there are cultural influences that sneak in, but i suspect that the main reason for the type of food you can find in the market is more influenced by the fact that lake garda is literally flooded by german tourists (not a "mean" comment, just a fact)

Oh yes, i thought about Italy and christmas and i guess the Germanic/Austrian market types are simply the prototypes which are adopted more and more in neighboring countries or better cultures... same is seen in Poland. In France of course they have splendid christmas markets traditionally in Alsace-Lorraine because this is the germanic region of France... so traditions are basically the same to German ones... and i think it's great what they offered in Lago di Garda and Verona. A good mix of food... it's really dangerous to watch your videos being hungry at 1pm..... lol... i guess i have to rush to a Berlin christmas market and get myself some Kartoffelpuffer with Apfelmus and a proper Bratwurst or Chamignons in Knoblauch.... but this italian markets look delicious.. Rosmary.... yummi everything with Rosmary is for me... and the italian sweets.... there is a reason for Italy being the best in food... I've been to Verona in 2012 in summer, so beautiful. What a relaxed atmosphere, absolutely loved it. Keep up exploring the beautiful sites of beautiful Italia. My mum's always raving about her first italian holidays in the 50's. For years they always went there in summer in a tiny vw beetle as family of four, and my mum and her brother were already 17 and 20 by that time and she got tons of photos from Lago di Garda and the Riveria and Adria....she never forgot those holidays and loved to go back to Italy whenever she could. And she still loves the italian music from the 50's and 60's..... those memories stayed. Italy is simply gorgeous. Edit: oh yes, congrats on your 10th anniverary. So young and already 10 years... so you easily can plan for your golden anniverary lol... you'll be young and fit.... good luck and all the best.
