Three days. One giant canvas above the river in Juniper Valley — and every evening, more people stopped to watch.
🎬 ABOUT THE VIDEO:
This 140 × 190 cm / 55 × 75 in canvas was too large to fit in my car, so I rented a van for three days and built the entire project around that deadline. Juniper Valley is 43 km from home, which meant 258 km of driving across the three painting days.
At the same time, I had to fit each session around my painting studies at the academy. With limited time and changing evening light, every day became a balance between getting there, setting up, painting, and making the most of the few hours I had.
As the painting progressed, more and more people began stopping to watch. By the final day, several visitors were sitting nearby until sunset, and what had started as a quiet plein-air session began to feel almost like an unexpected public performance.

that a huge amount of effort is required much greater than is shown in your edited video. Well done in achieving such an accomplished painting . Your colours are beautiful.
Your progress as a painter since the beginning of this year is astonishing and I avidly look forward to your next video.
