Kiin vs. Zeus: A summary of the entire 4-year Kiin vs. Zeus matchup.
From the time the "Professor Kiin" and "Private Kiin Exam" memes emerged following their Jayce-Gwen 1v1 practice in 2022, up to the 2026 LCK Finals, there were 14 best-of-five series, with a record of exactly 7 wins and 7 losses.
Zeus won the first four times, but after Kiin moved to Gen.G, Kiin won seven out of ten matches. They met four times in the finals alone and twice at the World Championship, where the record was evenly split at 1 win and 1 loss.
Regarding the national team, Kiin won a silver medal at the 2018 Jakarta Olympics; however, since League of Legends was a demonstration sport at the time, winning a gold medal did not grant any military service exemption. Zeus won gold medals in two consecutive tournaments—Hangzhou followed by this year's Aichi and Nagoya—which remains a source of lasting regret for Kiin's fans who were unable to make the roster this year. For all three LCK regular season championship trophies Kiin won, the top laner opposite him in the finals was Zeus. Meanwhile, Zeus has accumulated international tournament trophies, including two World Championships and one MSI, while Kiin has also lifted the MSI twice.
Kkin-Kkin, who declared in trash talk that he would stand above the gods, and Zeus, who retorted that he would carry him on his back. Both are heading to the US for this year's World Championship, and they could potentially meet as early as Round 2 of the Swiss Stage. I am rooting for both players.
