Blackbeard for sure went to drum island for the human human fruit that was actually the forest god fruit. Chopper looks exactly like ancient forest god depictions.
I think devil fruits return back to the world much in the same way Brooks soul returned to his body when he died. The ball of energy just soars around from its point of death until it find a suitable fruit to inhabit. This theory would also clear up how Blackbeard stole Whitebeards Tremor-Tremor fruit most likely. Because as we've learned with Devil fruit users, some have natural weaknesses. Examples:
Water > Sand-Sand Fruit Rubber > Rumble-Rumble Fruit Buggy > Dice-Dice Fruit
There is a lot more that match but we haven't seen directly but with the info we have it stands to reason the powers would work this way. So if Blackbeard's darkness power is its most powerful with the more darkness around or better to say with the absence of light he would be at his most powerful. So wouldn't it stand to reason that if Blackbeard kills a power user he can just throw that dark shroud over him and the user in darkness thus trapping the power inside of his darkness before it can travel to a new fruit. It is stated that his darkness can trap, consume, or nullify devil fruit powers, and that its not quite like any other logia, this is probably the reason for that statement.
Surprisingly great video! Forgot some of these! Subbing for sure! But definitely do double check the weird Ai images! You can probably use some screen grabs from the show or png's from Google for the same effect
Amazing video. I have been looking for this type of videos on YouTube for so long, and since the amount of small mysteries in this show is absurd, I’m glad I found someone who eviscerates them carefully and accurately. Please make another video explaining every other mistery in One Piece, from the biggest ones to the most hidden ones, like these ones
The "they" moment is created it's own rabbit hole. Even in Marineford, it was said that "he has a strange body". One of those mysteries that all the characters are aware of except the viewer
yo awesome vid and keep it up, genuinely some stuff i have not heard from even big youtubers these are some unique takes and brings up some heavliy forgotten stuff and this vid deserves to blow up cuz brother u are cooking
3:45 the theory here is reading comprehension or misunderstanding what was said imo. When zoro said "they" it meant just that blackbeard wasn't the only person on that island. Like all the "random" weird encounters were his crew.
Mihawk also mentioned in a flashback when zoro used armament on the swords for the first time about making his own black blade like his sword. My theory is that blades of good quality have wills of their own and can absorb haki and blood to replicate it on the blade making it black and indestructible. Enma has shown the ability to to this to an extreme effect, probably from all the wano samurai who have wielded the blade in conflict before zoro.
The Logia awakening was sort of answered though. Our first introduction to the concept of awakened devil fruits was from Crocodile back in his Alabasta fight with Luffy, when he claimed his were.
