The HOA fees in green book are actually $100 per year. My mistake.

Hello Adam, we live in Lake Club on the one street that has yard and pool maintenance provided by the HOA. Buying I thought that was a nice plus being part timers. We’ve found out we need to have additional yard maintenance done fairly regularly. That’s not something many might think of so you may want to let folks know that perspective in communities with yard maintenance. As to the HOA in general I like ours and approve of it more than our friends who own in Country Club East but it all comes down to personal taste.
We love our home there and community and hope to live out our lives there. :)
I always enjoy your videos and sometimes learn some things about the area. The clips from Lake Club in this video make me homesick as we are in IN right now.

Hi Adam, do you know of any areas in Lakewood Ranch or surrounding that have new homes without an HOA?

@COZNA 1 year ago

1 - I never liked the idea that HOA's dictate what you can do with your own property, but in reality, I generally am not the kind of guy who goes against their rules, with the possible exception of parking over the sidewalk in my driveway. I mean, get a life Karen.
